About Us

Patrick M. Sullivan is president and founder of the Law Office of Patrick Sullivan, P.C. His family has been practicing law in Indiana for over 100 years.  As a fourth generation attorney, he has had direct exposure to the evolution of the practice of law and to the legal institutions in Indiana.Patrick takes a different approach to the practice of law than most other attorneys.  Patrick was not satisfied with his role pursuing his client’s interests after problems had arisen and instead wanted to help his clients proactively avoid litigation and problems before they arose.  To that end, Patrick founded his own practice to ensure he could take the steps necessary to ensure his clients’ interests, rights, and pocketbooks were protected well into the future.

Patrick graduated from Georgetown University with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Finance and International Business. He then obtained his Juris Doctorate from Indiana University's Robert H. McKinney School of Law. In addition to being an attorney, Patrick is a Certified Financial Planning (CfP®) practitioner, a Chartered Benefits Consultant (CBC), a Professional Plan Consultant (PPC), and a licensed insurance agent for life, health, and long-term care. Prior to founding this firm, Patrick worked for both small and large law firms. In these roles Patrick was involved with both trial and appellate practice and gained experience litigating cases from both plaintiff’s and defendant’s perspectives. Patrick's diverse background provides insight into how the opposing party in your case may develop their strategy. 

In addition to managing the Law Office of Patrick Sullivan, P.C., Patrick has served in various leadership capacities, including serving as president of Foundational Financial Advisors, LLC and Foundational Insurance Advisors, LLC. Patrick also serves on the Echelon Board of the Salvation Army.Patrick writes on legal and business matters, and he has been both featured and quoted in the Indiana Lawyer. Patrick enjoys passing his knowledge on to adults and youth on the subjects of law and business.
